What if my equipment is not listed?
We can’t list everything, so there will be occasion where something is not listed for someone. In this event, there is a field called “Equipment Breakdown”, here you can list all your equipment and we will adjust any time as required.
What if my preferred day is not available?
Unfortunately, that’s how this works. Somebody got there first and the system will not take double bookings. If it is urgent, call us, we’ll try to figure something out to help you.
Will the scheduling system effect normal operations?
We have been asked if our typical turn around time of 3-5 days will change due to this new service…. the answer is no. We will have dedicated technicians separated between regular walk-in calibration work and scheduled work.
If I have a designated day can I not bring the equipment on that day?
Only if it is not a dimensional tool (e.g. a pressure gage). Dimensional tools will need 24 hours to acclimate and so you will need to bring them the day before. Anything else will need to be dropped at least an hour before service in order to be logged in etc.
Can I wait for my equipment?
A minimum of one hour is required as a buffer to log equipment in and prepare for the job. Depending on the number of pieces it could be a quite a wait. We recommend not to, however we do have quite a comfortable couch, lol.
Why do I have to use a credit card?
A credit card is used to hold your spot and will only be charged once the work has been completed, as there may be some extra charges incurred. We ask for a credit card payment for this service as a perk to us. This means you our customer, receive a $150 expedited service for free, and we receive payment up front. Win win.
Is there any chance you could be late finishing an order?
Typically no. However, we sometimes run into unforeseen challenges, e.g. repair work needed, which can sometimes push out our expected time of completion.
Is there anything I can do to help speed up the process?
Paperwork is always greatly appreciated. Also, if any tools are significantly dirty it will help us if you clean them off before bringing them.
