Same Day/Next Day Calibration Service, how we made it work.
One of the biggest issues people have when sending out their equipment for calibration is, how soon can I get it back? Can I not get it quicker? What do you charge to get it expedited?
In realizing that this was among the top concerns for our customers we decided to work out a way to make this work. This was when the idea of ‘Scheduling’ came up. How difficult would it be to work to a schedule, to have customers actually book their slot for their equipment? That way, they could drop off their equipment the day before their ‘time slot’ and could rest in the knowledge that they could pick it up that day.
Melanie got to work finding a solution and after months of trying different systems offering different options she settled on one that fit the best. Introducing our ‘Calibration Scheduling‘ service. A very simple booking form, where you select the equipment that you need calibrating, it offers a few different options of available time slots and you select one that best fits your need. Simple.
What does this mean for our everyday operations, for if someone does not want to use this service? Nothing at all. We have made sure that the system only takes a certain amount of bookings at a time so as not to interfere with current delivery times and have shifted a few of our current activities. So our typical 3-5 day turn around would still be applicable.
